"Just a quick note to say thanks for the days at Montcoffer.Graham and myself both had 2 great days on the beat even more so that we left with a lovely fresh run bar of silver each.The beat is magnificently well looked after and obvously some time and planning has been put in to help it flourish into lovely but challenging stretch of water.Our experience was made more complete by the more than attentive ghillie Jim who was more than helpful in our quest.He is all you can ask for in a knowlegable guide to the river and its fishing"

"A beautiful area,even if we did not catch fish, an exceptional day.Jim Ross is a very efficient ghillie & river manager, he was cutting grass with a strimmer when I arrived at 0830 and he was still mowing grass when I finished at 2130.I can recommend the beat and the ghillie both are exceptional"
